Wilfredo Hernandez (2012)
From the beginning Wilfredo Hernandez (NIU alum) has always known he would be a part of the Hollywood machine. His undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University introduced him to the wonderful world of storytelling through editing. He followed his nose west to tinseltown and has earned a reputation as a top editor in the reality genre.
Ever the budding entrepreneur (his mother was a Cuban immigrant whose first act upon becoming an American citizen was to open her own hair salon.......as well as giving him a proper haircut) Wil created Pikiqui Entertainment to provide his clientele with full-service post production. No story is too noble or too tawdry for Wil to tell! From the weekly scandals on CBS’s “Big Brother,” and Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” to the emotional roller-coasters of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” or FOX’s “Q’Viva!”.
